"A Special Mission" (特別な任務, Tokubetsuna ninmu) is the 73rd chapter of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Summary[]
Team 7 and Kawaki have been called to the Hokage office for a mission. While Amado, Eida, and Daemon are on a train traveling to Konoha, Eida uses her Senrigan to observe Shikamaru assign the mission while revealing her abilities. A few moments later, a mysterious figure is standing right beside Boruto, who Kawaki is the only person able to notice. The figure is also sensed by Sasuke while on the roof with Naruto, using a certain chakra that still remains in his body after his Rinnegan was destroyed by Momoshiki (while possessing Boruto's body) after the battle against Isshiki, where he then remembers having that same feeling from a past battle.
