"A Wish" (願い, Negai) is the 230th episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Synopsis[]
Kawaki and Mozuku hurry to catch up to Kurobane, before he could get to the Land of Calm Seas, while Shikadai takes Cho-Cho back to the Leaf. Konohamaru, Shikamaru and Naruto connect Kawaki's mission to the murders of the other boys and realize what's going on, deciding to send Team 7 to back them up. Sarada and Boruto find Shikadai and Cho-Cho and they tell them everything. Kawaki and Mozuku catch up to Kurobane and begin fighting. Kurobane's jutsu allows him to gain the upper hand as it saps the water from his opponents' bodies. Kawaki uses Fire Style to catch him off guard and pummel him into a tree. Kurobane manages to toss his blade at Kawaki once more, but Mozuku takes the hit for him. Boruto and Shikadai arrive to stop Kurobane from getting away, after which Kawaki gives him a severe beatdown. Mozuku asks Kawaki to take the medicine back to his nation, before dying. Shikadai and Boruto hold off more pursuers, allowing Kawaki to reach the Land of the Calm Seas and deliver the medicine to Mozuku's sensei. Kawaki blames himself for Mozuku's death, surmising that he'd be alive, had he followed Shikadai's orders. Naruto and Shikamaru try looking into ways to help the Land of the Calm Seas out from under the thumb of its Feudal Lord. Shikadai brings Kawaki to his grandfather, Shikaku's grave and enlightens him about the duties shinobi have to their village. Determined to try to become genin again, Kawaki talks to Naruto. However, Naruto reveals that Shikadai spoke positively of him in his report and Kawaki has passed the test to become genin.
