Ao (青, Ao) was a former ninja from Kirigakure, who served as the Fifth Mizukage's right hand and fought in the Fourth Shinobi World War. After the war, he worked as an Outer for Kara.
Appearance[]
Ao was a middle aged man with prominent wrinkles. He had blue hair resembling a pompadour, albeit spikier. Much of his body was scared, most notably his face and right arm, as well as his right hand. He had several experimental prosthesis, including an artificial left arm and left leg, as well as a metal chest plate and a craniofacial prosthetic covering his right eye, cheek and ear.
He wore a teal suit jacket over a grey pinstripe turtle with matching pants. He wore a black open-toed boot on his right leg, and a grey glove on his right hand.
Abilities[]
In his old age, Ao was still a capable tracker, being able to locate Konohamaru after he escaped the collapsed airship. He was also fast enough and intelligent enough to figure out and react to Boruto sneaking up on him while Sarada, Konohamaru, and Mitsuki kept him preoccupied.
Ao previously had a Byakugan that he lost in the Fourth Shinobi World War.
After losing his limbs, he was fitted with Katasuke's experimental prosthetics, which granted him increased durability. Ao had adjustments made to his prosthetics without Katasuke's knowledge, such as a chest plate that could launch Fire Release Bullets and a double-edged chakra sabre that could extend out of his left arm.
History[]
Ao was said to have fought on the battlefield since he was a young boy. He participated in the Fourth Shinobi World War, where he was badly injured in an explosion. He never returned to his home village, Kirigakure, in the 16 years after the war. Ao was given the task of intercepting the Konoha-nin that stumbled upon the broken airship by Kara. During his mission, he ended up fighting against Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha, Mitsuki, and Katasuke Tono.
