"Baryon Mode" (重粒子モード, Barion Mōdo) is the 52nd chapter of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Summary[]
Naruto unleashes a new chakra mode in order to gain the upper hand against Isshiki. The chakra mode acts similar to nuclear fusion, which will eventually drain Naruto of his chakra causing him to die. As a benefit, whoever comes into contact with him while he uses the mode has their own lifespan depleted as well. This causes Isshiki's lifespan to drop from 20 hours to 30 minutes to 10 minutes throughout the course of the battle. Meanwhile in Konohagakure, Kawaki, Amado, Sumire, Katasuke, and Shikamaru realize Naruto's chakra is dropping rapidly from it's concurrent effect on Kawaki's prosthetic hand. Isshiki finally realizes Naruto's chakra is connected to Kawaki's prosthetic and teleports Kawaki to the pocket dimension by locating Naruto's chakra in the prosthetic. As things look dire, Boruto suddenly opens his eye, revealing a dojutsu.
