"Empty Tears" (空っぽの涙, Karappo no namida) is the 201st episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Summary[]
Kurama awakens to tell Kawaki that he's been assigned by the Five Kage to watch over him while Naruto is asleep, and inform him of his nature as the Nine Tails. Later, Kawaki remembers his harsh training with Jigen as he begins tree-climbing training with Naruto, picking up the skill easily. Naruto, Boruto, and Kawaki are overlooked by Sarada and Mitsuki, the former of which expresses jealousy over the Hokage's favoritism over the young man. Mitsuki remarks that it's only natural because Naruto regards everyone in the village as his family, making Sarada smile. All five of them walk together after the training session, and make plans to improve their skills. Kawaki finally tells everyone that Jigen, the leader of Kara, gave him his Karma, and Boruto swears to him that he'll help Kawaki remove their Karma. Sarada returns to the waterfall to practice Chidori, finally being able to divert the flow of the waterfall. Sai and Shikamaru discuss the information they were able to get from the scroll USB Konohamaru retrieved from the crashed airship. The intel included an obvious set of coordinates, clearly being interpreted as a trap that requires investigation nonetheless. Sasuke was sent to the location, located in a different dimension. Meanwhile, Boro preaches to his cult about the return of the Infinite Tsukuyomi and pledging their devotion to the Ōtsutsuki Clan.
