"The Chase" ( 追跡, Tsuiseki) is the 211th episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Summary[]
A rumor spread around the konoha, that bandit broke into the archives and the stole the data from Hidden Leaf archives. Team Udon and Team Moegi were chit-chatting at favourite restaurant. Shikamaru conforms that the rumour is true, he have confirmed it from his father. Chocho was eager to find out the thief, that they would have fun like ‘Mystrey movie’. The cluse they have was that the thief was wearing a black cloak. They when to search for a lead, chocho found a place which looks more suitable for them to watch over the entire village. They when into the place and they search everyplace; they go to the top floor by stair. Chocho found a tablet. It has a blueprint of the database that which the data was stolen. Shikamaru found someone suspicious out there. They all when to catch him. Then they found out it was Kakashi. Shikamru findout the he came here is to investigate what they are after for. They suspect that the thief would be someone from the village, if it were from the outside the village, the sensor unit would have found them out. Kakashi asks them to help in the investigation. They all hide themselves near the place to find out the thief. Inojin find a person wearing a black cloak moving towards the place they find out, he informs it to shikamaru suddenly, he changed his direction. Everyone went after him. It looks like he noticed that he is been followed. He enters into the public place. So, they loss sign of him. Kakashi suspects that he could have moved into the drainage tunnel, to escape from the village. Kakashi asks shikamaru to inform the situation to joins to backup this and he went into the tunnel. After informing the joini’s, shikamaru suspects that even if went into the drainage, the main tunnel will be closed by village. So, he might have another route to escape. He got that thunder train is that another way. They ran to thunder station to catch up the train, but it was too late. Chocho use her Partial Multi-Size Technique to send shikamaru and inojin there. They catch up train and shikamaru uses his shadow paralyse technique to stop him. when inojin trys to take off his mask, they found that it was shadow clone. As soon as shikamaru informs this to kakashi. The real Kashin came to steal the written data from before the fourth great ninja war. But unfortunately, kakashi came their and now he has the scroll. Kakashi uses his purple lighting to attack him, but he used Toad smoke technique and escaped from there. At Senju park, shikamaru friends asks his crewmates what happened on the other day. Shikamru went to see kakashi. He thanked him for helping him. Shikamaru explains his theory to kakashi that the one steal the data was highly skilled; the sensor unit cannot find him and also what he tried to steal was an old wriiten data of shinobi’s. So, the thief may be someone from konoha in old-time. But it was his theory. Kashin thinks of why jigen have not returned to take back kawaki and he come across with his conclusion. He came back to the base and meets up with Amado. When he come to know about Jigen condition from amado. They both plans to take down Jigen using this opportunity
