The Rasengan is a jutsu created by Minato Namikaze.
Overview[]
The Rasengan is formed by rotating a high concentration of chakra in a spherical shape. Minato Namikaze gained the idea for this jutsu after observing the Nine Tails' Tailed Beast Bomb. He spent three years perfecting the technique, and afterwards tried to add a chakra nature to it but was unable to do. Naruto Uzumaki, and later Boruto Uzumaki, were able to not only add chakra natures, but create their own varieties of the jutsu.[citation needed]
