"The Vessel" (器, Utsuwa) is the 181st episode of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Summary[]
Kara discusses the disappearance of the Vessel, where Victor tries to hide in involvement in the crashing on the airship. After the meeting, Koji Kashin reveals himself to be in the same room as Victor, killing him and destroying the fly spy device Victor has used to steal data on the Vessel. Amado and Jigen comb through the details of Victor and Deepa's plans after recovering them from Deepa's regenerated head. With no use for Deepa anymore, Amado dissolves the last of his remains. Koji reports Victor's death to Jigen, and is assigned to investigate the crash site and eliminate every person who has seen the airship. Boruto and Naruto begin their Shinobi Sparring match, where Naruto demonstrates Katasuke's new prosthetic's ability to absorb ninjutsu, unbeknownst to Boruto and the crowd, sans Shikamaru, Sai, and Sasuke. Naruto defeats Boruto, bringing an end to the match. In his office, he attempts to reveal that the prosthetic is a Scientific Ninja Tool, however Boruto correctly deduces it before him and comes to the conclusion that he was being used as a guinea pig. Naruto admits he truely wanted to spar with Boruto to see how strong he has become, and reveals that Katasuke was inspired by Momoshiki's ability to absorb and re-release ninjutsu, however the prosthetic is incapable of discharging ninjutsu. Boruto becomes upset, calling Naruto a hypocrite for lecturing him about his usage of Scientific Ninja Tools in the Chunin Exam, and then using one himself in a spar. Sasuke appears, and interjects that the Tools themselves are neutral, and what matters is how you use it. Sasuke reports his findings on Kara, proclaiming that dangers still lurk. Konohamaru and Mugino start investigating the crashed airship as an enemy approaches.
